He was born in Rotondella ,in the province of Matera, Basilicata region. He lives in  Durres

He studied Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and graduated in. Philosophy with a thesis on Karl Popper at the University of Rome-La Sapienza. At the same university he earned the Ph.D In Moral and Social Sciences.

He began his work as a journalist at the Republican Voice. For 25 years he worked at the RAI. At the Radio Newspaper it was political journalist, seconded to Parliament.

It was deputy director of Tg1 and Tg2, special envoy following the President of the Republic. It was chief-staff of President of Rai. For 7 years, he headed Rai's Office of Institutional Relations and was for 9 years Director of institutional relations Of the insurance-financial-banking group Allianz.

He has contributed to many journals and from 2020 to 2023 was Director of the daily The Discussion, founded by Alcide De Gasperi one of the Fathers of the free and democratic Italian Republic .

He has taught courses, as an adjunct professor, at universities Luiss, La Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Iulm.

He was co-director of the School of Journalism Luiss.

He founded Italy's only lobbyist association The Cloister-transparency and professionalism lobbying of which he is president for life

He founded the only network of European lobbyist associations Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE) Of which he is president for life.

He has written a dozen essays and textbooks on broadcast journalism and lobbying adopted in university courses.
