After Stefano Boeri comes Luca Dini. Two great Italian architectural firms that are signing the urban and infrastructural future of Albania. One of the main merits of recent governments in Tirana has been to focus on the aesthetics and modernity of new buildings. A way also to turn over a new leaf after the ugliness of post-revolution building assaults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The skyline of downtown Tirana is now a collection of futuristically designed skyscrapers and is being enriched with new residential areas that are part of the vast Tirana 2030 plan curated by Italian architect Stefano Boeri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This set of ongoing works is now joined by five new projects curated by Luca Dini architect with extensive experience in nautical and urban design <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first project is called COLOSSEUM 339. It is a tower with round arches of different sizes so as to blend indoor and outdoor spaces. It is inspired by De Chirico's Metaphysical Cities and also takes cues from traditional Albanian fortifications from medieval towers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second project of great aesthetic impact is called TIRANA VILLAS. An ultra-modern villa complex for an upscale residential area in which the retaining walls recall Kandinsky paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third project will rise in Durres. It is called DURRES TOWER, 30 multifunctional floors spanning 4350 square meters that will give Albania's second-largest city a landmark for residences, commerce, and hotellerie. Very innovative will be the facade for which they will use recycled wood strips and special resin printed directly on site with 3D printers. This complex also includes a kind of ecological canyon to improve air quality<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fourth project is called PINE RESIDENCES. It will rise in Durres and will be inspired by the Roman ruins found in the city. A residential area, a cultural amphitheater, and an impressive scenic bastion are planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fifth project is called SKALITURT TOWER. Here the inspiration recalls Michelangelo's unfinished prisons reinterpreted in sinuous forms with a great sense of movement and stability. Materials from Albanian quarries are to be used for construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Each project,\" explains Luca Dini, \"is a work of art inspired by Italian identity and the Florentine Renaissance and shows a blend of tradition and modernity, classic elegance and contemporary design, creating landmarks that pay homage to Italy's rich cultural heritage. We have chosen to expand our scope to include architecture and urban design, as well as yacht design, consistent with our philosophy based on always looking at land from the sea.
