The Kalo Gallery presents Modigliani in Tirana. Through May 30

A cultural initiative of great substance, desired by the Kalo Foundation, presided over by Ardjana Kalo, wife of the founder, the renowned lawyer Perparim Kalo, former Judge of the Supreme Court of Albania. In collaboration with the Amedeo Modigliani Legal Archives, the avant-premiere brings some of the artist's most significant works to the Albanian capital.

The organization of this international cultural event was managed by Liora Sinigaglia, Art Manager. Her vision made it possible to create an initiative that combines curatorial quality with openness to new cultural scenarios.

Alongside him, Dr. Massimiliano Adilardi, in the role of Strategic Production Partner, ensured effective organizational management focused on the overall enhancement of the event.

The scientific authority of the initiative is certified by the supervision of Christian Parisot, custodian of the Modigliani archives and recognized as one of the foremost international experts on the artist. His contribution represents a guarantee of methodological rigor and strengthens the project's credibility, emphasizing the importance of an approach based on research and documentation.

The heart of the initiative is the presentation of the Catalogue Raisonné Volume VI, a fundamental tool for the study and authentication of Modigliani's works. In an increasingly complex and global art market, the Catalogue Raisonné stands as an essential reference point, capable of ensuring greater clarity and reliability in attributions of works.

The founder of the Gallery, Perparim Kalo, stated that Modigliani is known for the human figure, the long-necked woman, nudes, and vacant eyes, and that a certain melancholy hovers over his works.

«Modigliani is one of the 7 greatest in the world, with extraordinary values,» Kalo stated. "The exhibition is part of European Week, and it's a happy coincidence that the Dalia exhibition and Morricone's concert are also arriving," Kalo declared.

The exhibition will be open until May 30th.
